Endurance Monster is Virility's 5 Mile Advanced program. I created this 8-week running program built for military personnel who are seeking to take the next step in their weekly mileage, difficulty of programming, and bring their 5 mile to a freakish pace.

This is the exact structured training protocol that I used to take my 5 miler from ~40 minutes to sub-32 minutes during an RPFT. 


What This Program Is

The Endurance Monster is an 8-week progression built to stop you from “getting through runs”, and help you structure your schedule to maximize 5-mile speed.

Every session has a purpose:

  • Build endurance via aerobic running
  • Lock in pace discipline via running slower than you might deem necessary
  • Increase work capacity via threshold runs
  • Execute under fatigue via intervals/repeats

No wasted mileage. No random workouts that have zero effect other than injuring you.
